I don't know if this is a spolier or not so if you don't want spoilers don't read this. (Just trying to cover my bases)
I found this info on another message board. I don't have the program myself to double check but I thought maybe someone here would. This is from All_Dressed_Up on the Television Without Pity forum
You're right - it looks like they took down the reveal and the instructions. I wonder why? Anyway, here's what I did to find the Liddy Wales clue:
Hold your curser over the picture of Liddy Wales and right click. Select print. Choose Adobe PDF* to create a PDF of the page. Select the Touch Up Object tool. Move the X and the gray box to reveal the picture of Peter Thompson. This method also works to get a good clear reveal of the picture under Joop. I've tried it on a couple of other things but have found no more hidden pictures.
*IIRC, you must have the Professional version of Adobe Acrobat for this to work.

Interesting! Is it the same photo of Peter as in the Bios area or a different and new one?

how about someone doing this, then scanning the results and uploading to a site for all to see?

Interesting! Is it the same photo of Peter as in the Bios area or a different and new one? I truly have no idea, they didn't post any pics of it on the site, so I can't even verify if it's true or not. I was hoping someone here could if possible.

Ok, I did this and it is true - there is not much special here, just imagine a picture of Peter Thompson being there instead of the grayed out box.
Personally I am not sure I'd read much into this at this point. They could have just had it there as a placeholder at one point when designing the page and then overlayed the grayed out box afterwards, with the intention to swap the peter photo with the Liddy photo later on.

PS I can post a screen shot if it is really important to anyone, but basically there isn't anything all that exciting about it...

cool...I think the Hanso one is more relevant...since we know that can't the the 2003 photo that they claim...since it was also used in the 1980 orientation film for the swan...well, unless they lied about the date of the orientation film by 23 years...but persephone also told us that he wasn't seen in public since 2002...
so now the speculation may begin...who is that under the Hanso photo?

I'd say the White haired fella is Hanso. Could anyone identity this guy in real life. If we knew he was a decent actor we can presume that this is who the makers of Lost have lined up as the guy to play Hanso. I know that girl (short-haired brunette) from the Health/Education part of the site is an actress, I am pretty sure I have seen her in stuff.

I suspect almost all of the shots except for the black and white of hanso, the mittelwerk picture, and the picture hidden behind hanso are all stock photos from Getty images. I found quite a few of the board member and executives in there, as well as some of the shots of scientists on many of the pages.
I am thinking this is done only with those people they do not plan on ever using in the tv show, etc. It is cheaper to license a stock photo for the web than pay an actor to pose and negotiate the cost down, etc.
I'd say any photos of people that are not stock photos are important and should be paid attention to.

And it would seem most of the used photos are license-free, arent they? Cause when i looked for them i filtered on the free pics (though i dont know if they're also free for commercial use?) and that Joop-scientist was there too. Didnt find the man behind Hanso, so he might be more important indeed.

There are generally two types of stock photos. Royalty-Free, meaning that you have to pay for the photo but you don't have to pay royalties in addition to that amount each time you use it. Royalty photos mean that you do have to pay royalties.
It doesn't surprise me that they would use royalty-free stock photos. As JLSK said, it's a heck of a lot cheaper than hiring an actor to pose for a photo.

I think Hanso is dead anyway.
