Here's a pretty good quote from the book that may be of some interest:
When bad things happened there was an impulse to strike back; and when bad things happened on an island, the impulse was to take vengence on outsiders. Blaming outsiders was less unsettling than facing the possibility that the evil lurked within their very midst.

Just finished Bad Twin. Fun and quick read! Really liked the interaction between Artisan, Manny, and the dog.
Fun things:
The numbers make many appearances.
"Islands" is definitely a recurring theme, both in places Artisan went and in his personal life.
When he goes to LA, Artisan drives through Mr. Cluck's.
Mittlewerk sits on the board at Widmore.
Widmore has dealings with Paik Heavy Industries.
Hanso has an office full of strange people dressed in lab coats on the 42nd floor of the Widmore building.
Cindy serves Artisan on the flight from LA to Sydney and the book is dedicated to her.
I'm sure there are lots more tidbits to uncover with names and themes, etc. Have fun!

I think its the guy reading it, Because I am on chapter nine and I think it is pretty well written. But aside from that, Who really wrote the book. Isn't anyone intrested in that? I would like to know. Do any of you guys know? (I bet it is written on the book somewhere, and if it is then i must be stupid.)
