I haven't seen anything about this posted yet. Persephone's numbers have just been updated. This clue is the first numeric message which doesn't involve decoding in some way. This clue is ment to be used in conjunction with Persephone's previous message, "A mouse does not rely on just one hole". By using the url, hole2.thehansofoundation.org, you will find the following picture. I'll post in in the wiki. img.photobucket.com/albums/v421/edmorita/q9als2002.gif

Nice catch! Who is that person... Could it be the same man as seen without a head on the hidden pages of the Peter Thompson bio?

That's what I'm thinking. Assuming that they follow the same pattern with the board of Directors, I think that it may be this might be the lead up to Persephone's Jacob Vanderfield hack. Although, I'm not entirely convinced that it isn't just Marvin Candle.

Actually - looking a bit more careful at the two pictures - they don't match when it comes to angles at the collar. Not even if you mirror the image.

Why did you invert the colours?

Just so I could see what they would look like in black and white. I don't think that the first ones is Marvin Candle just because the heads are totally the wrong shapes. the faceless one has a long oval shaped head, and Marvin Candle has a rounder head. EDIT: Found this on 4815162342.com: Posted: Fri May 19, 2006 12:04 pm Post subject: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I made a quick overlay javascript rollover... have a quick look: www.milliondollarwilly.co.uk/lost/candle.html

yeah that face (hole2) is prolly not marvin. The ears are distincly different. (marvins ear curves up from the bottom lobe, while the other, hangs down a bit.)
nice catch though, beast!

Not candle - wrong tie pattern - wrong face shape.
I'll try and look at this a bit as well in PS later today and see what I can find...

www.insidetheexperience.com/2006/05/a_couple_of_thi.htmlLooks like we are not "looking at it correctly" I'm messing with seeing if there are alternate ways of viewing the file - like as txt and if they produce anything. My first though on seeing the gif was that there might be an additional dot pattern added into the image that could be converted into a text message or something. There does seem to be some excessive random dots on the page that are unrelated to the actual image.... JLSK PS q9als2002.gif name of the file might be related to decoding as well - odd name.

I tried using a Stenography program to decode the pic, but q9als2002, and any variation there of does not seem to work. These are passowords that I have tried:

I couldn't even find a stag program that would work with a 1 bit gif file.
I was thinking that there might be some extra bit of embedded data outside the normal gif file format that was in the file or something.
That or another file will come out that can be inverted out of this one to reveal something maybe -
Also that file name reminded me a bit of a PGP key fragment.

Well, the picture is just black and white, so I'm trying to find a way to maybe convert the image into a binary code or something.
