yep that's a good one too! But what i meant was this: HAS WIN HOST PC IN NIL URGE MISSING ORGANS and then anagraming all of this But I reckon that's a stretch. update: i managed to anagram that into something HANSO'S MISSING TWIN, PLUNCH, IS GREGORIAN! I'm on to something!!

Another interesting thing - in the kick off press release the phone number starts with 861 - not sure if that might tie to the second part of the message.

wesh -- to answer your question about the favicon.ico on persephone.thehansofoundation.org -- According to the LostPedia wiki, The favicon is the default icon of the Plesk Control Panel Software which they are using - see persephone.thehansofoundation.org:443/. No connection to Lost.

Sorry - the full phone number is: 206-861-5017 - which is valid
I am really not sure this is relevant, but I did think it a pretty big cooincidence that 8, 6, an 1 are all together in the significant numbers anywhere on the press release. Of course this assumes that the interpretation of the anagram I posted above is also correct.
206 is Seattle, WA and some other areas near there BTW.

Sometime during the late night of May 6th and the early morning of May 7th, a new set of numbers was loaded on to [url=http://persephone.thehansofoundation.orgpersephone.thehansofoundation.org[/url] By using the same ASCII cipher as before, we get: "HAS WIN HOST PC IN NIL URGE. 8, not 1 and 6." It is a common belief on many forums that "HAS WIN HOST PC IN NIL URGE." is an anagram. Among the many anagrams suggested were: Cenedra345 from the thetailsection.com: "LOGIN HUNCH WAS INEPT SIR. 8, not 1 and 6." or "SUN. CIPHER LOGIN HINT WAS 8, not 1 and 6." SUN. being abbreviated Sunday? That would account for the periods as well. The common consensus however is that the actual message is: "SIGN IN WITH HANSO PR CLUE. 8, not 1 and 6." Many believe that the "PR clue" could refer to the word "miracle", which is found on the WWPDP page. Screen cap from the WWPDP page. If you move your cursor over the word "miracle" the cursor indicates that it is a link. Another theory as to the date mentioned in the original message is that it is May 8th. I have been to the Hanso Foundation website like a million times today already, and nothing has changed (the files haven't been updated). Maybe there will be an update today, and that Hanso PR clue - maybe it will be released somewhere in the world today? Because I don't think we've heard of a PR clue so far (none of the codes that we have sounds like a PR one)

What if Safe G (it is disctincly 2 words btw) applies to the anagrams, I guess I'll look around for G's in anagrams.

I noticed that there is now scrawling over Alvar Hanso's bio page -- the same scrawling we've seen on the Newsletter page and Joop's page after Persephone showed us something on them.
I'm wondering if that's a "Persephone has been here" sign? Or a sign that you've received all the information there was to get there?
