I don't think it's that big of a deal. Lost wanted her for a regular cast member, but she didn't want to spend that much time in Hawaii. According to the story on yahoo, she is only going to be in 3 episodes of Heroes. That's not to say she could be in more though. And with the track record of the casting for Lost, I'm not worried about who will be added to the cast. Whoever it may be I'm sure they will be just as good or even better.

Well obviously Kristen Bell was not meant to be on the cast of LOST. It's that fate and destiny stuff.
I'm not worried, I'm sure they will find someone better who will be commited to the role and the new life in Hawaii.
Besides, who would say no to Hawaii?

She's probably one of my favorite actresses....so I was a little bummed that she didn't join Lost, but I can completely understand why she didn't. At least I can still see her on Heroes.

I prefer actors and actresses I've either never heard of or rarely heard of--it preserves some of the believability of the show. Also, no offense to you V.M. fans, but I don't much care for Kristen; kind of a cheeseball. I don't buy her for a second. So she seems tailor made for the fun but campy Heroes!
