Didn't Carlton say something about their being an Anagram hid in this episode that would be a big clue for the theory of the show?
Did anybody catch it in tonight's episode?

maybe it's "Mittelos" as in "Mittelos Bioscience"
so maybe it's "Time Slot" or more possibly "Lost Time"

I like the "Time Slot" idea - but how much do you want to bet - and there's no real way to prove this - but then the script for this episode was 1st written - before they were talking about switching times - the sign read "Mittelwerk Bioscience"?

That was the only anagram I saw. Could also be time lost.
Here is the quote from the writers:
Thanks to Jonah for finding this from EW.COM. The key bits that I picked out are:
CUSE: The connection between the Others and Dharma gets revealed in episode 11.
CUSE: The answer to that question goes to the nature of the timeline of the island. We don't want to say too much about it, but there are a couple Easter eggs embedded in [the Feb. 7 episode], one of which is an anagram that actually sheds some light on the skeletons and hints at a larger mythological mystery that will start to unfold later in the season.
CUSE: We will be visiting another Dharma station soon. But the map becomes less important, because when they visit this new station, they'll be getting some new information that helps them understand where the Dharma people lived and where their stations are

Time Slot seems to be more of a trivial easter egg... but if it was infact Lost Time or Time Lost, then it would be more significant

yeah, they may interlink - i'm thinking the writers of the show are really trying to get the idea of "time" across to the viewers now... the dates mentioned, age of the womb, the book, mittelos/losttime,ben asking sawyers age, and many more things

indeed it was... i think its interesting that he's just reading that specific book as opposed to something else, like "Carrie" for instance hehe

the thing about that book. It is known as being written for a layperson to understand these higher mathematical and scientific ideas, including cosmology, quantum theories, etc....
just seems curious that a regular "other" would be reading it... maybe it is a kind of textbook to help them understand their "experiments" or something like that....

I think its got to be "Lost Time" Thats much more significant as a hint than anything else. I mean, it could just be a storytelling mechnism that its only been a couple months for them, yet we're in the third season. (Kind of like Grey's Anatomy...) But more likely it will play into something bigger, like real time has passed for the rest of the world, but for the island, less time has. Hence, Lost Time.

lost time means either lost time outside the island or inside ... juliet thought those x-rays (presumably from the island) were from a 70 year old. then that guy says 'no, from a 20 year old" so time moves slower off the island (20 years real world = 70 on the island) it has nothing to do with the time in OUR world... season 3 and all that ... sure our world runs faster.... it couldn't be any other way really ...
