I could see that being right, it would be very in-character for Jack to be there for her if she was in need.

I thought Jack was going to get a new love interst, taking the place of Ana, so now this new person would come along, and Kate woudl be jealious. So Kate goes for JJack. |

i think sawyer and jack should continue competing for kate and i think that kate should choose sawyer because something has already happened with kate and jack in what kate did but nothing with sawyer except the torture scene but that doent count.
