There was an article in my local paper yesterday with quotes from Harold Perrineau (Michael) about Season 3. He says as of now he is not back for next season "I am not off the show but I am not back nerxt season ... and I may never be back". He was told he was being written off the show and that there was no doubt Michael and Walt were going home. He also says though when he watched the episode he was confused as to whether they really do get home. It also said there was a storyline idea about him getting home and trying to go back to the island but that it is apparently not planned for next season.

Spoilerfix also says: 05/14 - Damon Lindelof [reveals]: Libby's got this mysterious backstory, of which we've only given you the tip of the iceberg. We know she's spent some time in the mental institution with Hurley, and the idea of killing her before she had an opportunity to explain how she got there... we have a master plan for how we're going to tell that story, but it's all posthumous. You'll start to learn Libby's moves through flashbacks over the course of the next season. So we're not done with Cynthia, but Libby is dead.
