Hi Jay and Jack, great podcast. Just as everyone else here I am a big fan of Lost and first found the Transmission podcast via Jen and Ryan's HawaiiUp podcast (I am from Hawaii and that it is great to have some type of contact with the islands). Anyways (ding), I heard you guys call in on that show and started listening to your show as well. Thanks for keeping the humor flowing while still keeping it informative ... keep it up :-)

Hey, I'm new here! Love the show, I've heard a bunch of Lost podcasts and this is the only one so far that I keep listening to. I've been meaning to check out the boards for a while, but my computer got infested with spyware so that put my forum-going on hiatus. However, here I am! I'm a new member, but i've managed to catch up on all your past podcast episodes....

My wife and I really enjoy LOST and I am getting into the J & J Podcasts ( don't be offended she just doesn't really have the time). For X-Mas I bought her Season 1 on DVD and we are catching up on all the little things we missed first time around (watching the show.. not in life)

Anyway (ding......sorry, I guess that's Jay's bit) thanks for pulling this together each week and keep up the good work!

My question is..... what's with the stars? What is the significance? Are they earned? or is it a "time in rank" thing?

Welcome David!

I think the stars increase as your post count increases. As for the nifty colored stars, I think they break down like this:

Green stars- Member of the Lost Podcast Team

Dark Blue stars- Member of the Rebels (very very long story)

Blue stars- Moderator/Leader/Generally a perfect person in every way ;D

Red stars- Big Bad Administrators

I'm from Scotland. I'm an aspiring writer who is paying the bills working at a local college keeping the database servers working. I'm involved in amateur dramatics and expect to be directing my first show in a few months.
