Okay, Paul sucks and has given me permission to tell the story regarding this latest song. Basically, before "Charlie, Man" came out, we were throwing ideas back & forth and Paul had said he wanted to maybe do a Beach Boys song. He actually said, "Maybe 'Good Vibrations!'" Then we decided to go with the "Piano Man" spoof INSTEAD of "Good Vibrations". After "Charlie, Man" came out, we were tossing ideas around again for a sesaon finale song and came up with another song (which I wont reveal because I'm still going to make him finish it). We started thinking of ideas on the Wed that the season finale aired & it was basically set in stone that this other song was going to be the new BNH song. Then I saw the finale about 8 hours before Paul did. I sent him a message at like midnight EST that read, "Yeah...you're going to want to change the song." He watched it and we had a long ass laugh about how absolutely hysterical it would've been if he had done "Good Vibrations" INSTEAD of "Charlie, Man" like originally tossed around. He decided to postpone the other song (which is going to ROCK when he get around to it, trust me  ) and do this one instead. But that's the whole big, ironic story that cracks me up. The end! |
