I am so glad that it worked out! Now we know in advance where to meet so that everyone can arrange to be there and we won't have to rely on word of mouth. I know that some people missed the meet and greet after the Lost panel last year, so I am happy that we have this opportunity.  |

Jay and Jack mentioned on the last podcast that we have a confirmed room at comic con. I think it was 24A for an hour on Sat afternoon. It should (hopefully) be after the Lost panel, so that we can all meet up afterwards with a designated place. It will be in the official comic con schedule so even if you forget the room, or if it changes, it will be in your program. I am very excited. Last year we met out on the terrace. It's a beautiful view, but it was sooooooo hot last year, so it will be nice to be indoors in case it is hot again this year. |

It has been on Sat for the past few years. The last I read, it was still on Sat, but in a different room from last year (I think - it's been a long day at work, so I can't say for positive sure.) Doesn't matter though. We will still have a room for our J&J group on Sat for an hour, I think they said. That totally rules!

Well on the Comic-Con official website www.comic-con.org/cci/cci_prog.shtmlit says: "but another Comic-Con favorite, Lost, returns to Comic-Con on Friday of this year in Ballroom 20."And it's the same room as last year. But the thing is that I'm only gonna register for the day the Lost thing is on, I don't wanna go for another day cause I'm really not interested in comics, just the Lost thing. anyways another reason i'd like to go is to meet some of the people from the forum and stuff, and if the meeting thing is on saturday, that kind screws with my schedule and i'm sure other peoples. as the date gets closer i'm sure we'll find out if this is the correct date or not, and if it is, is there a way you could change the day that the meeting room is set for? |

I truly wish I could make the trip this year - but there is next year and the "Comic-Con in '08 or bust Train Tour" - where we'll probably see Jay, Jack and Cliff on the actual panel with Carlton, Damon, Jorge and the rest

I just did some digging for you: forums.go.com/abc/primetime/lost/thread?threadID=1738362&forumStart=60It says Friday, but maybe we can get a definite confirmation on that, since I'm pretty sure that A2L & Jay both had heard it from somewhere else that it was Saturday before the CC site said Friday. I so behind on stuff - this is the first I heard about the room! That's exciting - at least now if I get "lost," I will know where to go - after I get found. I think. I do have some hugs to deliver, so if I miss you guys, I may just start hugging random people and that's not good for anybody. |

I don't know if they can change the day of the meeting since it was a first come first serve on the rooms. Jack was the one who got the info from CC, so if you are really concerned, I would suggest a PM to him. I do want to let you know that comics are only a small part of comic con. There are many shows that have people there, shows actually screen their debuts at cc and movies and books also have a large turn out. You will not be wasting your time by coming more than one day. In fact, I highly recommend several days. One day is not enough to see it all. Wait - you're from San Diego? Seriously, if you are that bored with the rest, it is still worth it to buy the pass and come just for the two things even if they are on two different days. You won't have the travel/hotel expenses of most people, so you are very lucky. |
