The problem is - I really don't think Jay would play something like that during the podcast - I screw up enough reading out loud when I am totally sober.
I'll tell you what - ask Jay - if he woul play something like that on the podcast - if he says "yes" - and I will confirm this with him - I'll do it - I'll even put in what I am mixing with the gin during that particular reading.

Thank you - Keep in mind - I am in the good old U S of A - Wesh is in Belgium. I recorded my part - without music - just the lyrics to the entire Rap - then I sent it off to him to add the beats and his vocals - so basically I wrote the lyrical silliness- but he pulled it all together and did a hell of a job.

Thanks Shin - I played it for a co-worker today and he said that was the "whitest" rap he had ever heard. I asked, "What did you expect?" "I mean you got me - an actual musician - tending towards "classic rock" and a Belgian guy who - even though he seems to know the Rap world - still isn't African-American." No - I give all my props for the final product - to Wesh - he pulled it out - and thank you for your compliments |
