Jay was right, USA is closer to Australia than Scotland. It isn't by much all that much though.

Best episode yet, the music was very unexpected and I nearly fell out of my chair laughing.

There was no need to mock the Scottish caller's speech impediment by saying he sounded 'all cool' or whatever. Just backing my fellow countryman.

evilgus...I didn't take it as mockery. Americans love Scottish and British accents. We truly think they are cool.

There was no need to mock the Scottish caller's speech impediment by saying he sounded 'all cool' or whatever. Just backing my fellow countryman. It can seem odd at times, the reaction that we get to our voices. Everyone else we know talks the same, so we don't hear anything special in our own voice. Personally, I think the sexiest voice in the world is the female-Carolinian. Sorry, Jay and Jack, has to be female. Stick a microphone in front of a random woman walking past you there in Raleigh, and you'll make me happy. You'll probably also get slapped. So enjoy it while you can.

I know I would hunt all the time and would not have enough room to fit all the bison that i killed on my wagon.

DO you guys mean the MECC version? Horribly pixelated and all that Jazz? Cuz this is the one I grew up with-> It was awesome, we would pick the poorest person, the latest time we could leave, set meager rations and go at a grueling pace to see who could kill off their entire family first. We would also pick a funny family last name (I usually took Butz, name the Fam' Seymore, Opheila, Tuchmi, Smelmi, Big) and write bad epitaphs on the Grave. We'd ford every river and never hunt. It was awesome. And it turns out that at the school my mom works at, they still have computers that run the MECC classic!!! Ahh Childhood...Maybe this is why I like scenes in LOST where people die? ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Yea thats the one I played except we had those Apple IIs with the terrible green screens so we didnt have color. Except in the computer lab there was two computers with color monitors and the rest had the green screen, and if you were good that day or whatever you got to use it. Those were good days.

Of course I had that one! It isn't truly Oregon Trail if you don't. Although there cam a time when we switched computers and I had to get the new, spiffy photo realistic game. I didn't mourn too much. And Jeremy, the Maquis De Sade would be very proud.
