I just listened to all of Muse's albums for the first time, finally. I have known about them since I heard their single "Muscle Museum" on the radio back in 1999 and loved it. However, I never picked up any of their albums until after I started hearing about them a lot more this year after you mentioned them in your top 10 bands list on the Ramblecast and after I read the cover story about them in a recent issue of RELEVANT Magazine. (Do you have this issue? If not, maybe I'll send it to your P.O. Box.) Anyway, I just wanted to get your take on your favorite album by Muse. Their latest one, Black Holes and Revelations, is so great, it's like a huge, intense, rock-your-world story that makes you wanna listen to it as the soundtrack of your life. However, some of my favorite songs from them are on Absolution, including "Thoughts of a Dying Athiest" (something Dr. Gregory House should listen to) and "Ruled By Secretly." The dynamic of music on Origin of Symmetry, with its mystic synth and hard rocking guitars, gets my audiophile heart pumping, but those are elements that are also present on Black Holes and Revelations. So that's where my vote goes. Black Holes and Revelations.....with Origin of Symmetry in close second. Now what about you?

I only have Absolution and Black Holes, but I think Black Holes is the stronger of the two. Great, great album. I wish "Supermassive Black Hole" got more airplay 'cause that song is so fun.
