Hi Michaela,
welcome to the boards! I wrote you a personal message about the karma thing .. would take too long here. The post count is simply how often you post a message here on the board.
I hope for you that you will make it to the "Comic Con"!

Hi Bev,
Thank you very much. I love a cup of tea too - I didn't think it was popular in the "states". I thought you all liked coffee! That's really very shallow minded of me. I shall have to learn more about your breed if I am to visit!
Thank you also for the welcome i_luv_chocolate_and_lost. I am sorry I haven't replied on this thread earlier; I haven't been on the net much as I've been sick.
Cheers, Michaela.

Registered for Comic-Con 2007 today along with an old buddy of mine who I've known since 2nd grade (and he's a much bigger geek than me) so if we do a Lost meet-up, count me in! My buddy hasn't quite gotten into Lost yet (have loaned him my DVDs though and he's gotten through 6 episodes so far) but hopefully I'll get him hooked before Comic-Con 2007 and get him to any Lost panel that may happen.
For those of you who haven't yet made your plans for San Diego, the hotels in the area are going fast. Unfortunately, we missed the first day when the official hotels were opened up for the convention rate and now those are pretty much gone. So, book your hotels soon if you want to go.

I don't think I'll be able to make it this year, BUT I am going to Europe over the summer. I may run into some of the other members.

Hi everyone, My name is Michaela, and I live in Melbourne, Australia, the home of Emilie de Ravin. This is my first post (obviously), and so I thought I would preface with an introduction. I love the podcast and like others, Jay and Jack's description and video podcast made Comic-Con appear so great. I am seriously considering the 21 hour flight and thousands of dollars (Australian pesos!) to go. I have had a look at the site, but can't see any info on Lost or who will be going. I am not completely caught up with the Jay and Jack podcast either, as I am scared I will be spoiled, but what I last heard was that you guys were gathering funds to go and also to possibly have a booth. Are you going to be able to do this? Can anyone shed some light as to what kind of Lost -related stuff will be happening this year? I am much obliged for any info you can give. Cheers, Michaela. Welcome Michaela. The actual programming/schedules will not be set until about a month or so before Comic Con. At least not that is announced. I can tell you that Lost has had people there every year for the last three years. Their first year, they showed the pilot that July before it aired that Fall. The second year they had a Lost panel coupled with Invasion, plus they had several cast members signing autographs at the Inkworks booth and Josh was signing autographs for the release of his movie. This past year there was the Lost panel and then also some cast members were there for the McFarland action figure/2 ups. In other words, it's a safe bet that someone (or four, eight, etc) will be there.
