Tootsie pops! And it IS fun to park the pop in the cheek. I haven't had one for such a long time, I forgot about that little pleasure! It is the little things in life that are the best!

Tootsie Pops last longer for me than Blow Pops. I just bite into it and chew the gum right off the bat. I give tootsie pops a longer time to enjoy. i find that the lolipop portion are better than the tootsie center, where as the Charms BloPop is the opposite. i am with you on that on Jay. Plus, who doesn't love Gum with shards of mouth threatening candy inside?

That's what always annoyed me about BlowPops. Gum with hard shards in it!

They need to put a warning on these things that says "Be careful....could slice your toungue open, and it won't heal for days, and you will be in the most uncomfortable pain everytime you eat"

I like how when you first unwrap a tootsie pop, its kind of sticky, and has a layer of stuff you can just scrape off with your teeth and then when you get past that, it's all crunchy and good, and mmmm...i need a toootsie pop...

yeah, personally i like blow pops more, mostly because the gum flavor mixes better with the lolli pop itself than the tootsie rolls do. Plus i don't really like Tootsie Rolls.
I'm not exactly sure how old i was, i was no older than nine, hm, i might have been a little younger than 8 actually. It was between 5-8
and i'm sure it was at least in the thousands, but it's hard to actually lick a tootsie pop, it's not really the way to eat them. It's kinda tiring, especially when you have a tiny tongue like 8 year olds do. so i'm going to have to try that one of these days.

I was never a fan of blow pops, mainly because I'm not really a fan of gum. But the pop part was good!

On this day in 1896 the tootsie ROLL was introduced! woohoo!! wonder how long it took for the lollipop to appear?
and BTW it is also the anniversary of: U.S. FLAG ON IWO JIMA: February 23, 1945
During the bloody Battle for Iwo Jima, U.S. Marines from the 3rd Platoon, E Company, 2nd Battalion, 28th Division take the crest of Mount Suribachi, the island's highest peak and most strategic position, and raise the U.S. flag.
