When my wife and I were trying to conceive our first child we took a cruise to Brumuda. We took a pregnancy test along with us hoping to get a positive result while we were on our vacation. So, its not so far fetch that there would be somebody that would either be carrying or have in their luggage a test.

Exactly.
I don't understand why everyone is making such a huge deal out of why there was a pregnancy test on the plane. It's safe to say that you had 100 people or so on the plane. The odds of someone carrying a pregnancy test isn't low at all. Sawyer was digging through whatever he could find, so if there was a pregnancy test he would've found it. I don't think who it belonged to is all that significant. He more than likely just found it and kept it for himself.

I can't remember where I heard this, but somebody said that Sun might have brought the pregnancy test along with her. That is why she knew that Sawyer likely had one. Perhaps she was unfaithful to Jin and hadn't used protection because she thought she could never get pregnant. Then she learned that she didn't have a problem getting pregnant after all, and she wanted to check. Just a thought.
