I don;t know if anyone has brought this up, but remember when Rousseau said that 16 years ago she had heard the numbers repeating themselves over and over on a radio and thats the night they got shipwrecked on the island? Well i also remember Sam Toomey's wife saying he had first heard the numbers out in a boat in the South Pacific on a radio and came back and used them on the Lotto. NOW theres GOTTA be a connection, why were Rousseau and Sam Toomey out in the ocean at the same time?

I thought Sam Toomey and Lenny (the psych ward connect 4 guy) were stationed at a remote military listening post when they heard the numbers being broadcast over and over. My impression was they had been broadcasting for a long long time. Danielle was able to find the transmitter and change the message 16 years ago after being shipwrecked and having to kill all her fellow scientists.
What I was wondering is if people heard the numbers broadcast, why didn't they hear Danielle's distress call? Of course, maybe they did hear it but didn't know how or even if to act on it.
