i reckon the writers of lost are doing what the Beatles were famous for. they put things in the show which are completely irrelevant just to see what reactions they will get from their fans... like i am the egg man.

i reckon there have been allot of dead end clues in lost which are simply put in to see what the fans would conclude about the relevance and all in all just to get us confused..

maybe just like Paul they are all dead... ha ha you must be a Beatles fan to get that
