Ok, I might totally be imagining this... BUT I seem to remember someone (might have been Rousseau or Ethan) saying that when people got The Sickness, it first became evident as a fever which then disappeared for a while before The Sickness came in to full effect. Am I completely making this up or confusing it with something else? Or did this actually happen, and could explain why Aaron's fever disappeared and mean that he IS actually sick?

You might be right. I can't remember anything about the sickness of the top of my head except that Desmond says it kills you but it does sound familiar.
Also, another thing about Aaron's health problem was that he had a rash. I can't help but cringe every time Jack screams "No one has gotten sick!" at someone because it's absolutely not true. Doesn't he remember the man that annoyed him while he was playing golf?! The guy was complaining about a rash. Jack played it off like the guy was crazy but I am 100% sure it was foreshadowing the sickness just like Aaron's "cold".
Mark my words, that guy will be back and sick as a dog! Sorry to steer this thread off topic but no one seems to be talking about that guy.

I think it was from henry gale that we've heard most about the sickness, and he's not necessarily a reliable source.
(i just became a full member. I feel so special)
The part about the jack line that worried me was when he said "we've been here almost two months now and nobody's gotten sick" or something to that effect. It was supposed to turn up at two months, right? so we'll see. It does seem like a lot of people are acting kinda weird lately, like locke, and bernard and rose.
