If you get about 3 pages into the post, it looks like it is a different actor playing th epilot - geoff heist I think was his name. Look at Geoff's online pictures and he looks a lot like Gainey. So basically, Zeke isn't in the pilot epi.

LOL I love reading threads like that. When it first hits, everyone is all over it, and praise it to high heaven as a major breakthrough, then once it's debunked, everyone jumps to the opposite side saying how obvious that it wasn't correct. Only a shoe like Lost could do that to people. I love Lost! ;D
