For some reason i've got it in my head that there's a three week break after Materity Leave.

I believe that it is a two week break after Maternity Leave. I don't understand why everyone's complaining though. What else do you suggest they do? It takes time to shoot these episodes, and they've got to keep the show airing for an entire season. The amount of breaks they've had this season is about the same as the amount they had last season. Last season they had 12 weeks of re-runs, and I believe this season we're getting around 13. Only reason it seems so bad now is because last season they broke up these 12 weeks of breaks more, but we took up half of our break time with the holidays this season.
We've only got another set of two week re-runs after the re-runs after Maternity Leave. And besides. It's not up to the writers how often they air new episodes. Frustrating? Yes. Out of our hands? Yes. Any other choice? No.

two week breaks blow, but i guess that's what we get for watching a show that is filmed on location as we speak. plus it gives us all more time to fester in out theories and become even more fanatic.

Oh, well in that case, I guess it's just a stage that we all have to get through. The reruns bug me as much as the next guy, but there's really not much you can do about it at all.

I think the wait builds up the suspense for me.
Plus, it gives me time to catch up with reality & my ever growing TO DO list.

theres a 2 week break after maternity leave then 2 more new episodes, then 2 rerun weeks, then all new episodes until the season finale

waiting is hard to do, BUT... I agree it does build up the suspense, and let us theorize longer about what they will pull out of the proverbial hat next.
