Yeah, iTunes is good about that. However, I still want to have the actual CD instead of going through iTunes. Oh well. I guess I'll have to wait and see in a week or so.

I was listening to the Soundtrack.net podcast, and there is an interview with Lost composer Michael Giacchino, from the scoring stage of J.J. Abram's upcoming film MI:3. a highlight of the interview is when Michael Giacchino brings up his experience with meeting Lalo Schiffrin (composer of the mission:impossible theme). Micheal was very very interested in talking about what Lalo did with the M:I television series, but the legendary composer just wanted to talk to Giacchino about the work he does for Lost! check it out, it is pretty awesome! soundtrack.net/podcast/ |

I'm listening to the first track on the CD.. and from what I can gather .. it's a bit lower in pitch than the TV version..
other than that.. it's a very cool CD. Finally I can listen to the songs and not hear the voices and sounds from the characters and environment fx.
I think maybe this cd is based on a RErecording of the themes from season one.
