I, too, keep thinking Eko is somehow connected with that Nigerian drug plane. Since we saw him come out of the water, I doubt he was on the drug plane as my daughter and I originally toyed with. However, we all know how the island draws certain people to it. Maybe his father, brother, etc. was on that plane. Interesting possibilities there.

Yea that is true Annie, there is a lot of layers to Mr. Eko and i cant wait to see them. Hopefully he will have a flashback episode sooner rather than later.

Can't wait to see what the deal with the big stick is. It has to be more than "speak softly and carry a big stick." Does anyone know if there's some Nigerian custom relating to big sticks and carving important mementos, tribal stories, affirmations ("You're good enough, smart enough, and doggone it, people like you, Mr. Eko.") or other things on them?

actually I have become quite fond of BabyEaters
btw that Mr Eko has become one of my most fav people on LOST I wonder if (in real life) he is anything like his LOST character

I have to say I am enjoying watching the reruns I find I am able to focus on the little details I missed the first time around facial expressions body language background details
maybe 6 weeks of reruns isnt such a bad thing after all

That's true. While it has been a sort of hiatus-hell, it has given time for reflection and revisiting of episodes. And great conversation!
