Why do you think the Ragged Others are so ragged? If they have the ability to get modern clothes, a shave and a haircut, boat fuel, etc., why be so dirty? Maybe it is just me, but given the choice of being filthy, ragged, and barefoot vs. clean . . . well a nice shower or even a dip in the water feels great!

Widmore Construction? We know Michael worked construction. Do you think he worked for Widmore in New York? Wouldn't that be funny if Michael worked for DHARMA and didn't know it?
Or maybe Widmore is one of the companies Hurley has stock in.

Poor Charlie.
I can see Locke being practical about the heroin. After all, it is a narcotic painkiller and they might need it sometime to use in that capacity. I don't think Locke knows about Jack's army plans, but Locke would be smart enough to know that they will be interacting with the Others again and there might be painful consequences. Also, people just get injured. Why they didn't take some heroin back for Boone is beyond me.

Ha Ha. One of these days, he's going to just up and say to Ana Lucia, "I'm tired of begging. Just give me the d**n fruit already."

Yeah, right. And they'll have a nice salad with lots of Dharma Ranch dressing.

Michael is gonna be stupid. He's going to do some non-thinking hot headed thing that leads to pain (either physical and/or emotional pain).

I don't think Michael is hallucinating the conversation on the computer. I think Dharma is manipulating him.
When the computer first starts to talk to him, he is very relaxed and calm. When the computer asks, "Who is this?" Michael's body language is one of OK-I'll-play-along.

I don't think they mean religious faith. I think they mean faith as in believing in something that you can't prove, like Locke does. Trusting your instincts to lead you the right direction, etc.

They do have a lot of religious references in the show, but I don't think they are talking about any particular religious faith per se.
That is an interesting thing for them to say. I'll have to watch episodes with an eye for that angle now and see what stands out. We know that Locke has extreme faith in the Island being wrapped up in his own personal destiny. Hmmm. . .

You would think after 16 years alone on the Island, she would have done a better job and have more details. Even if she didn't need a map to know where she was going, she is a scientist and it would be something to do and something to document.

The rest of the computer message must have been something like "you need to come alone" and then directions how to get there. Otherwise, I think Michael would have welcomed help and wouldn't have knocked out Locke, etc. He knows he has support in the group, esp. Jin.

I wondered the same thing about Sawyer and the bullet grazing his cheek. Richochet vs. Other shooting at him. I posed the question in the questions/comments section, but if anyone knows the answer they can certainly reply here.

Jack asked Ana Lucia about being a cop and how long it would take to train an army.
Previews were about Hurley asking Libby, "Don't I know you from somewhere?" Either he is trying a very bad pick-up line or some of us think he might recognize her from when he was in the mental hospital.

You know, though, Ethan and the Seabilly really have a lot in common in their demeanor, ways they deal with people, etc. Ethan was one ruthless, scary son of a gun. When he made a threat he wasn't kidding. Ol' "Zeke" is the same way, scary as all get out, not bluffing, means business.
