Would they be any different than the scenes on the season DVDs? Yes, they are. Check out the link I included in the first post.

That's cool, tibbs! Do you know how to make video files of the deleted scenes and upload them to YouTube? If so, that would be aaaaaaaawesome.

kairos Noun
kairos (uncountable)
1. A time when conditions are right for the accomplishment of a crucial action; the opportune and decisive moment.I'm surprised we haven't seen any mention of this word related to LOST yet. The ancient Greeks had two words that referred to time. One was "chronos," which is the way we usually define time - by a clock or calendar. The other word was "kairos," which is said to be "God's time," or moments of our lives that seem to transcend time, such as the time we experience while dreaming or during a déjà vu or while simply "staring off into space." I'd like to read everyone's thoughts about this and how it relates to LOST. Here is a link to the Wikipedia article for reference: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kairos

I saw on Lostpedia ( lostpedia.wikia.com/wiki/Deleted_Scenes) that there were some issues of TV Guide with CD-ROMs that have extra deleted scenes from seasons 1 and 2. There was also a DVD included with the book The LOST Chronicles that has extra deleted scenes. Does anybody know where I can see these videos? I've searched YouTube, Google, etc. but I'm coming up empty.

Ben was in that classroom "4 years ago" from 1977...didn't Sawyer and them come three years ago? I think you're right about that.

hmmm That is interesting. Although, I can't recall which, if any, Dharma stations were in an open space like that.

OK, OK, so I broke the "fourth wall" a bit with my post on what would really happen if you were hit by such an explosion. Just snark really, although it is a pet peeve of mine. That and running through fire. In real life, you can't run through a burning building. And only in Peter Jackson's middle earth can you sit on a rock above a pool of molten rock. The air would be, what, like a 1000 degrees? Wow. I really am obsessed about this. Where are those chill pills... hahaha Yeah, sometimes it's a bugbear of mine, too. Thank God for MythBusters! Has anyone read this article yet: www.popularmechanics.com/blogs/science_news/4301690.html

OK, that would work in TV land, where being in the blast radius of a serious explosion just means that you get catapulted away to land with a bit of a thud. Of course in real life you would probably die instantly upon the bone crunching, compound fracturing impact. If you survived that you would die shortly afterward from internal bleeding caused by the shock wave. And if you survived that you would die later from the horrific burns in your lungs caused by inhaling superheated air and outside caused by your clothes bursting into flame. Geez, what a Debbie Downer.

NO, DEFINITELY NOT. The show has taken a turn from mysterious island to time moving island, but complexity and relativity does not equal desperate stupid moves to get back viewers. I don't think LOST has done that. Wait until we see a whole show of Kate and Jack's /Charlie & Claire/Hugo & Libby triple wedding... Then you can say the show has jumped the shark. Hey guys, what qualities/events have to take place for a show to have jumped the shark? Some character all of a sudden revealing that he or she is gay and has an affair with another gay character. Homosexuality is all the rage in television these days. Note: Tom doesn't count. We always kind-of knew he was gay. I mean, come on: "Mr. Friendly?"
