@jlyn, Now, when you say there's nothing wrong with a guy saying "Hi", do you mean "Hi" or "Hi"? LOL I'm just remembering that first segment and how J&J & Hybrid were doing the different "Hi" versions. I had a chuckle when I was listening to that part. And now you brought it back to mind. Exalt for making me smile at the memory. Ha ha, The first one. Those guys are such dorks. Exalt back.

I think the segment is great. I think anyway to help men get confidence is great by me. I think in recent years since the 80's, there has been a lot of role reversal going on. Men have now become laid back, and now want women to do the first move. I'm an old fashion girl. I think the guy should make the first move. With men not being as manly as they used to be. I think the whole Metrosexual era ruined men that are men. Standing up and being men. Instead they have become pansys that take too long to get ready. I want a Johnny Cash, Clark Gable, Humphery Bogart. Men that had the balls to talk to women, who made the first move. I think that men making the first move shows that they will stand up for they want, defend their woman, and not be wooses in life. And you know what there is nothing wrong with a cute guy saying, "Hi." It could perk up a woman's day. I was listening to Ghost Rider by Johnny Cash when you said that lol

I really appreciate the purpose of the "Night With a Pickup Artist" segment. These days, it seems there are less and less genuine approach-a-girl-in-the-supermarket occurrences and more and more occurrences of "virtual" meetings in internet chat rooms or forums. While the latter is safer, easier, and more comfortable, going up and talking to a girl in a bookstore is more meaningful, memorable and rewarding. Before I met my fiancée, I was super super shy and basically NEVER talked to a girl I didn't know unless they talked to me first. Back then I probably would've kissed Cliff AND Jay and Jack on the face for making a segment like this (if podcasts existed back then). There were tons of opportunities where I saw a cute girl and desperately wanted to talk to her, but never did and lost that moment forever - never to see the girl again. Now that I'm happily engaged, I can't say that I wish I would've started a relationship with one of those girls, but I DO wish I would've been confident enough to at least talk to one of them. All in all, thanks for taking the important, honorable parts of this community, Cliff, and presenting it to to those single, timid guys who just need to know there's nothing to be afraid of.
