I will tell anyone that has a dog or a cat that the prices at Wal- mart are the cheapest I have ever found anywhere, when you buy them there you can see how much the super markets mark up the prices. They have a large supply of dog treats and dog foods, so that's where I will continue to buy for my pets.
Not all walmarts are dirty, or do they have only rude employee's working for them. Ours has both, the nicest and the rudest, and the store is always clean. I have had rude customer service all the way from Target, Mervyns to Macy's. Ours is not a super Walmart so I don't know about the food, the food that ours have never have had outdated dates on them, it's always been fresh, I buy our Gatorade there and I save $2 for 8 of them, Target sells theirs for close to the same price but there are only six of them.
Astrodog a job that puts food on your table and clothes on your back is what is important, we have to survive the way that we know how to, and I totally understand what you were saying. I know that if I can save almost 60 cents a can for dog food when I have to buy a lot of it is where I am going to shop. With the world costing as much as it does today to live you have to do whatever you can to support your famliy.
I myself will never put down anyplace that can offer a place for people to shop at a lower price, and I do understand the whole Union thing, but not everyone has a Union to back them and so they don't make as much money as a Union worker and they still have to eat and they still have to wear clothing.
There is good and bad with just about everything, that's the way it has always been and I don't see it changing anytime soon at least not in my lifetime.
vicious 590 good for you, a job is a job and it means that you are taking care of yourself and not relying on the goverment to support you.
By the way I do totally believe in Unions, It's just that not everyone working has one, I wished that I had one during all the yrs' that I worked. I am sure that after 20 yrs. in the business that I was in would have paid a lot more than it did, but I was always self supporting and asked for help from nobody and I took a lot of pride in that.
